Description (English): A historical vintage stamp from the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic (SSR) issued circa 1922, with a denomination of 3000 Rubles. The front of the stamp features a detailed illustration of the famous Baku oil derricks alongside a crescent and star symbol. The text on the stamp is printed in both Russian (АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНСКАЯ СОЦИАЛ. СОВЕТСКАЯ РЕСПУБЛИКА) and the Arabic/Persian script used in the region at the time. Condition: The stamp is imperforate and has no gum on the back, printed on the typical brownish paper from the post-Civil War inflation period. A fascinating historical piece for philatelists.
