תיאור המוצר: חתיכת היסטוריה אותנטית מהאימפריה העות'מאנית! מטבע כסף (בילון) גדול ומרשים מתקופת שלטונו של הסולטאן מהמוט השני (Mahmud II).

בצדו האחד של המטבע (Obverse) מתנוססת ה"טורה" (Tughra) – החותם הקליגרפי הרשמי והמסוגנן של הסולטאן, מוקפת בעיטורי פרחים אופייניים לתקופה. בצדו השני (Reverse) מופיע הכיתוב בערבית המציין את מקום ההטבעה "קוסטינטיניה" (קונסטנטינופול / איסטנבול), שנת ההכתרה של הסולטאן בתחתית – 1223 להג'רה, ושנת השלטון שבה הוטבע המטבע בחלק העליון – 28 (שנת 1834/1835 לספירה בקירוב). פריט נומיסמטי נהדר לאספני היסטוריה של המזרח התיכון והאימפריה העות'מאנית.

המטבע מגיע כשהוא שמור ומוגן בתוך קרטון אספנים (Flip) תקני.

Product Description: An authentic piece of history from the Ottoman Empire! A large and impressive silver (billon) coin from the reign of Sultan Mahmud II.

The obverse features the "Tughra" – the highly stylized official calligraphic monogram/seal of the Sultan, surrounded by floral motifs typical of the era. The reverse bears the Arabic inscription noting the mint location "Qustantiniyah" (Constantinople / Istanbul), the Sultan's accession year at the bottom – 1223 AH, and the regnal year at the top – 28 (corresponding approximately to 1834/1835 AD). A wonderful numismatic piece for collectors of Middle Eastern and Ottoman history.

The coin comes protected in a standard collector's cardboard flip holder.
