Titled "Soviet Intelligence Officer" (Советский разведчик), this captivating series is dedicated to some of the most famous and highly-ranked spies and agents who worked for the USSR and the KGB. The stamps (5 Kopecks each) are in pristine mint condition, uncancelled, and carefully preserved.

The stamps feature portraits of the following legendary intelligence figures (from left to right):

• Ivan Kudrya (И. Д. Кудря): An intelligence agent who operated in Kyiv during the Nazi occupation in WWII.

• Konon Molody (К. Т. Молодый): A famous KGB officer who operated in the West under the alias "Gordon Lonsdale" and was central to the Portland Spy Ring in the UK.

• Rudolf Abel (Р. И. Абель): One of the most iconic spies of the Cold War. He operated in the US, was captured, and later exchanged for American U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers on the "Bridge of Spies".

• Stanislav Vaupshasov (С. А. Ваупшасов): A senior intelligence officer and commander of Soviet guerrilla units during WWII.

• Kim Philby (Ким Филби): The most infamous spy in this set! A high-ranking British intelligence officer who was a double agent for the Soviet Union as part of the "Cambridge Five" spy ring, ultimately defecting to Moscow in 1963.
