Product Description: A moving and historically significant collectible: an official Israel Postal Authority (Philatelic Service) souvenir folder containing a full stamp sheet dedicated to the late Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut. The sheet was issued in 2003, following the Space Shuttle Columbia mission (STS-107).

The stamps feature a portrait of Ilan Ramon in his space suit against the backdrop of the space shuttle, the flags of Israel and the United States, and outer space. The sheet's selvage is decorated with spectacular images including a sunrise seen from space, a silhouette of Ramon looking out the shuttle window, and satellite photos of Israel. The folder itself includes a detailed explanatory text in both Hebrew and English about the space mission, the Israeli scientific experiments conducted, and the memory of the crew.
