Carmel #300a | Israel 1998 Golden Jubilee Souvenir Leaf + Jubilee Exhibition Stamp – Carmel 300a

ISRAEL'S GOLDEN JUBILEE – 1948–1998

THE ISRAEL JUBILEE EXHIBITION
TEL AVIV-YAFO
3.8.1998

English Description

Official Israel Postal Authority Souvenir Leaf commemorating the 50th Anniversary – Golden Jubilee – of the State of Israel, 1948–1998.

This is the more elaborate Carmel #300a variety, featuring an additional 5.35 NIS Israel Jubilee Exhibition stamp with full tab, together with a special Tel Aviv-Yafo exhibition cancellation dated August 3, 1998.

The 5.35 NIS stamp was issued specifically for The Israel Jubilee Exhibition, held in Tel Aviv during Israel's 50th anniversary celebrations.

The leaf also bears the 1.15 NIS Declaration of Independence stamp with tab, making this a more complete and visually impressive version than the standard Golden Jubilee souvenir leaf.

The reverse features The Declaration of Independence, including the Hebrew text and an image of the original signatures and seal.

Condition: Very good collectible condition with minor age/storage signs. Both stamps, tabs and special cancellations are clearly visible.
