בפינה הימנית התחתונה מופיע בול ישראלי בערך 1.15 ₪, המוקדש ל־הכרזת העצמאות ב־14 במאי 1948.
הבול כולל צילום היסטורי מטקס הכרזת המדינה ובתחתיתו שובל הנושא את הכיתוב:

העותק המסוים הזה שונה מעותק רגיל של Carmel #300 בכך שניתן לראות בבירור החתמה כפולה וחופפת באזור הבול והשובל.
כלומר, חותמת הדואר הוטבעה יותר מפעם אחת או זזה בין שתי ההטבעות, וכתוצאה מכך נוצר Double Strike / Double Cancellation ברור.

English Description
Official Israel Postal Authority Philatelic Service Souvenir Leaf issued in 1998 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary – Golden Jubilee – of the State of Israel, 1948–1998.
The colorful design features a large bouquet of red roses, the Israel 50 Jubilee emblem and the inscription:
“ISRAEL'S GOLDEN JUBILEE – 1948–1998.”
The souvenir leaf bears the 1.15 NIS Declaration of Independence stamp with tab, commemorating the establishment of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948.
Double Cancellation / Double Strike Variety
A particularly interesting feature of this specific example is the clearly visible double and overlapping postal cancellation across the stamp and tab.
The postmark appears to have been applied twice, or shifted between impressions, producing a distinctive Double Strike / Double Cancellation variety.
This makes the piece especially interesting for collectors of postal errors, cancellation varieties and unusual postmarks.
Please note that while the double strike is clearly visible, it is not being represented as a catalogued rare error unless further specialist documentation establishes such status.
The reverse of the souvenir leaf is devoted to The Declaration of Independence, featuring the Hebrew text and an image of the original signatures and seal.
