Terms of service

1. Operator & acceptance. This store is operated by FINE-COLLECT (אספנות דברים יפים), a business registered in Israel (Business/VAT No. 307335554), Kinneret 15, Haifa 3327238, Israel (info@fine-collect.com, +972-50-6333071). By using this website or placing an order you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to place an order.

3. Products, authenticity & condition. We sell collectible coins, banknotes, medals and related items. We warrant that items are genuine and as described; if an item is proven to be non-authentic, your sole and exclusive remedy is to return it for a full refund of the price paid. Beyond this authenticity warranty, and except for mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded, items are sold "as is": they are unique, vintage or pre-owned objects, and descriptions, grades and photographs are our good-faith opinion. Minor variations in condition, colour, toning or patina are inherent to collectibles and are not defects.

4. Prices & currency. All prices are set in Israeli New Shekels (ILS). Prices displayed in USD, EUR, GBP or CAD are approximate conversions shown for convenience; payment is charged in ILS, and your bank or PayPal applies the actual exchange rate. We may correct errors in pricing, descriptions or availability and cancel affected orders with a full refund.

5. Orders & acceptance. Your order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline at our discretion (for example, a stock or pricing error, or suspected fraud). A contract forms only when we dispatch the item. Payment is via PayPal or credit/debit card.

6. Import duties, taxes & customs. All import duties, taxes (VAT/GST/HST) and customs and handling fees are the customer's sole responsibility (see our Shipping Policy). You are the importer of record and responsible for compliance with the import laws of your country. We are not liable for parcels delayed, inspected, seized, returned or destroyed by customs, nor for any charges, fines or penalties imposed on you.

7. Shipping & risk. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.

8. Disclaimer of warranties. Except for the express authenticity warranty in clause 3, and except for any rights under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded, all products and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) FINE-COLLECT, its owner and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, however arising; and (b) our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to an order or the website shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FINE-COLLECT from any claim, loss, liability or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or your breach of any import, customs or other law.

11. Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including postal or courier delays, customs action, strikes, natural events, epidemics, war or governmental measures.

12. Acceptable use. You may not use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, to infringe our or others' rights, or to interfere with its operation.

13. Intellectual property. All content on this website (text, images, logos) belongs to FINE-COLLECT or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

14. Third parties. The site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, payment and shipping providers); we are not responsible for their content, terms or actions.

15. Consumer rights preserved. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence, including the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal and rights regarding faulty goods.

16. Changes. We may update these Terms at any time; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.

17. Severability & entire agreement. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms, together with our Shipping, Returns and Privacy policies, are the entire agreement between us.

18. Governing law & jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel shall have jurisdiction — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights and protections available to you in your country of residence.
