2 Mil Coin – Palestine (E.I.) 1942, Bronze

An original coin from the British Mandate period in Palestine, with a face value of 2 mils, from 1942. Made of bronze.

Reverse: An olive branch next to the number 2. Around the rim, the inscription TWO MILS in the three official languages – English, Hebrew, and Arabic.

Obverse: The name of the country in three languages – in Arabic at the top, PALESTINE in English in the center, and below it in Hebrew, Palestina (E.I. - Eretz Israel). At the bottom, the year of issue 1942 in Western numerals, and below it, the same year in Arabic numerals.
