50 Mils Coin – Palestine 1935, Silver

An original silver coin from the British Mandate period in Palestine, with a face value of 50 Mils, from 1935. The largest and most impressive coin in the series, made of silver.

Obverse: The value 50 in Latin numerals, with the inscription FIFTY MILS above it in the three official languages – Arabic at the top, English in the center, and Hebrew (חמשים מיל).

Reverse: An olive branch in a circular frame, with the year of issue 1935 in Latin and Arabic numerals next to it. Around the rim is the name of the country in three languages – PALESTINE in English, Palestine (E.Y.) in Hebrew and Arabic.
